Mickey Gall saw an opportunity to join the UFC and seized it. President Dana White was in attendance for a local New Jersey show to film Lookin’ for a Fight. So Gall won his MMA debut, then called out CM Punk. White liked what he heard and signed Gall.
One fight at UFC 196 later, and Gall is finally fighting CM Punk. Punk signed with the promotion at the end of 2014, but injuries have postponed his debut repeatedly.
