Anthony Johnson has fought all the way from welterweight to heavyweight in his career. The massive “Rumble” somehow went 7-3 in the UFC’s welterweight division. However, a history of failed weight cuts and a submission loss against Vitor Belfort ended his first UFC run. Johnson fought his way back to the Octagon by going 6-0 with smaller promotions, including a heavyweight victory against Andrei Arlovski. Johnson has been a tear since returning to the UFC. The Blackzilians fighter is 5-1 with four knockout victories. The lone loss came in an epic fight against Daniel Cormier for the UFC light heavyweight title.
Glover Teixeira entered the UFC on a 15-fight win streak. The Brazilian won his first five Octagon battles, stopping four of the opponents. After a first-round knockout over Ryan Bader, Teixeira was given a title shot against Jon Jones. “Bones” defeated Teixeira, as did Phil Davis in the following fight. Since then, Glover Teixeira has won all three of his fights. The Connecticut resident has defeated Ovince St. Preux, Patrick Cummins, and Rashad Evans, with knockouts in the last two. Teixeira is 25-4 in his career.
