Cris Cyborg will finally make her UFC debut at a catchweight of 140 pounds. Cyborg lost in her MMA debut by submission, but has since gone 15-0 with one disqualification due to a positive drug test. Cyborg has torn through Invicta FC recently, defending the featherweight belt three times and sporting a 5-0 record with the promotion. The Brazilian has won by knockout in 13 of her 15 career victories.
Leslie Smith is the brave soul stepping up to face Cyborg in Brazil. Smith is 8-6-1 in her career and is 2-2 in the UFC. Prior to joining the UFC, “The Peacemaker” was 3-2-1 in Invicta FC with a victory over Raquel Pennington. Most recently, Smith defeated Rin Nakai at UFC Fight Night 85.
