Glover Teixeira enters this fight looking to continue his current two fight win streak, and stake his claim that he belongs as a serious option in the LHW title contention. A win over the former champion Rashad Evans would no doubt bump him up the list. Evans on the other hand, is coming off a tough decision loss to Ryan Bader this past October, and is trying to bump himself up into the top-5, and hopefully earn another title fight in the future.
