The main event slot is now occupied by two welterweight contenders, Johny Hendricks and Stephen Thompson; in which could very well determine the next opponent for UFC champ, Robbie Lawler, if they do not decide to re-run the Lawler vs. Carlos Condit fight.
This camp Hendricks has spent the duration with Lou Giodarno to get his weight cut down pat, and it has gone very well.
Thompson is nothing Hendricks has never seen before, “Bigg Rigg” has fought numerous strikers; but none probably as more dangerous as Thompson. The former professional kickboxer throws a wide array of combinations in numerous angles. It’s hard to predict where the guy will come from at any given moment in the fight.
