Number one contender Cat Zingano (8-0) returned to the Octagon at UFC 178, amidst the knee injury and tragedy that happened in her life since her last fight in 2013–a win over Miesha Tate. She took on Amanda Nunes (9-3), who is coming off back-to-back first round TKOs in the UFC.
A win here would likely earn Zingano back her rightful title shot at the bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, according to Dana White.
