Stefan “Skyscraper” Struve was once considered the brightest prospect in the UFC heavyweight division. With a knack for finishing fights either on the ground with his long limbs, or using his Dutch kickboxing, Struve once had the highest ceiling of anyone on the roster. Ever since his heart condition a few years back, Struve has regressed in his return, showing too much hesitancy in his recent bouts.
At least Struve has an excuse, Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva has completely fallen off the UFC heavyweight radar, and is barely surviving in the top 15 at number 12. With three losses in his last four fights, Silva really needs this rebound victory to keep his head afloat in the division.
The two occupy the co main event slot, with Struve being from the Netherlands, the crowd will surely be on his side come tomorrow in Rotterdam.
