At UFC 191, former heavyweight champion Frank Mir will face off against another former world champion in Andrei Arlovski. Mir is the division’s No. 10 contender, and a win against his Belarusian counterpart may lead the 36-year-old to his last opportunity at a title shot.
This Saturday night at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Mir not only faces a man who, upon beating, would increase his chances of challenging for the title once more, but the defeat of Arlovski would represent a fight that should have taken place 10 years ago.
