Both looking to rebound from losses on UFC on FOX 17, Michael Johnson and Nate Diaz come into Orlando, Florida hungry, on a mission for a victory. Johnson lost to Beneil Dariush back in August, but beforehand he had rattled off four consecutive victories in a row to earn his spot into the top ten of the division.
Nate Diaz continues to struggle against some of the best competition in the lightweight division, and things do not get any easier against Michael Johnson. Diaz has lost three out of his last four fights, getting manhandled by the new UFC lightweight champion, Rafael dos Anjos. With a win over Johnson, Diaz could creep back into the top ten of the division. With a win over Diaz, Johnson could demand a top five opponent with his next fight.
