The UFC crowned their first ever strawweight champion in the main event of the TUF 20 Finale. Carla Esparza and Rose Namajunas emerged as the two finalists out of The Ultimate Fighter 20 to compete for the title.
Both Esparza nad Namajunas impressed on their road to the finals, but it was ‘Thug’ Rose by far who had the most dominant run on the show; finishing all three of her opponents via submission. Not to be outdone, the former Invicta FC strawweight champion Esparza proved just why she was deserving of the number one overall seed, by fighting her way into the finals.
