Press Conferences are often held to promote fighting events in Mixed Martial Arts and Boxing. Pre-Fight Conferences take place before the event, and post-fight press conferences take place after the event. In these conferences, the media/public get a chance to ask questions to fighters that are fighting or fought in the event. They are also held when Promotions or Promoters need to make a special announcement. Press conferences are a great way for fighters/promotions to get exposure to the public/media.
